Binding 101 – Beginner Class
Skill Level: Beginner
This is a true beginner binding class. If you’ve never added binding to a quilt (or want to finally feel confident doing it), this class is for you.
You will learn how to:
• Measure your quilt for binding
• Determine binding width and calculate fabric requirements
• Cut, prepare, and attach binding
• Join the two loose ends of the binding
• Finish binding by hand and by machine
Class Prep / Homework:
Please complete the following before class:
• Create or bring a small project to bind. example Table topper or place mats.
